How did Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick meet?

Before she began dating Scott, Kourtney briefly dated 'Girls Gone Wild' creator, Joe Francis, in 2005. In 2006, Francis invited Kourtney to a party at his home in Mexico. It was at this party that the oldest Kardashian sister first laid her eyes on Scott, who was present at the party as a guest of one of Francis' friends. "I introduced Kourtney and Scott at my house in Mexico. Scott came as the guest of a friend of mine, and they met in my master bedroom," he said in an interview

The couple was instantly drawn to each other and soon got into a relationship. In 2007, when 'KUWTK' first premiered the couple's relationship was one of the major subplots of the show. The couple was together for two years and briefly split from each other post that. In August 2009, the couple got back together and announced that they were expecting their first child together. Mason Disick, the couple's first son was born in December 2009.

Timeline of Kourtney and Scott's tumultuous love story

After Mason's birth, it was revealed that Scott was battling alcoholism. This tough period in their relationship was documented for the viewers on ' Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami'. Although their relationship had a lot of issues, the couple welcomed their second child together- Penelope, in 2012.

Scott's drinking problem only got worse as he was struggling to adapt to his new role as a parent. He checked himself into rehab in 2014 for "alcohol and drug-related issues". The couple's woes were once again documented on a new spinoff show 'Kourtney & Khloe Take The Hamptons'. In December 2014, the couple welcomed their third child, Reign, into the world. Shortly after Reign's birth, Kourtney and Scott finally decided to break up for good.

Following their split, the couple worked really hard to co-parent their children, and are currently happily co-parenting their kids. Both of them have moved on since their breakup, while Scott is currently rumored to be dating model Amelia Gray Hamlin, Kourtney is dating her neighbor/ musician Travis Barker.

Scott declares he is ready to marry Kourtney

But Scott isn't too worried about Kourtney dating other men, as he is convinced that they'll eventually marry each other. In the trailer for the upcoming Season 20, we see Scott admitting his love for his baby mama, when he is asked by Kim Kardashian when they would get back together. He says, "Wherever Kourt stands, I stand with her … forever. I love you. And I’m ready to marry you, right here, right now.” “Kourtney knows that eventually we’ll get married and live a good life,” he added. Although Kourtney seemed reluctant about getting back with Scott, she didn't completely rule out them getting back together and insisted that he "work": on himself first.

We will just have to wait and watch to see if Kourtney and Scott will finally get back together or not.

'Keeping up with the Kardashians' Season 20 premieres on March 18 only on E!
