LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Giacomo 'Jack' Caputo died on July 24, 2023, at the age of 94. The cause of death was not disclosed in 'Theresa Caputo: Raising Spirits,' but it is speculated that he died due to old age.
Theresa Caputo's father-in-law's visitation at the funeral home took place on July 26. Subsequently, he was laid to rest at St John's Cemetery in New York.
In the Lifetime show, Theresa expressed her close relationship with her father-in-law. In the premiere episode, viewers witnessed Theresa visiting a store, Restoration Oak, where she bought a holy water holder. The reality TV star and renowned psychic paid tribute to Jack by hanging the holy water holder in his honor.
Additionally, Theresa brought a Pinocchio statue, claiming it was a sign of Jack's presence. She mentioned, "Two days after Poppy died, this was sitting randomly on the bench." Theresa explained to her daughter that Jack played Pinocchio in school and added, "And, Poppy was also buried with a Pinocchio."
Placing the statue on a tabletop, she remarked, "It's gotta go somewhere where we can see him in the front." She then kept the statue's arms and legs at rest, symbolizing Jack's peace.

Who was Giacomo 'Jack' Caputo?
Giacomo 'Jack' Caputo was Theresa's father-in-law and the father of Lawrence 'Larry' Caputo. Born in 1929 in Bayville, New York, Jack was a loving father to three children - Larry, Domenick, and Antoinette. He also cherished his role as a grandfather to Andrew Spaventa, Leah, and Victoria Mastrandrea.
According to the Oyster Bay Funeral Home, Jack is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends."
Are Theresa Caputo and Larry Caputo still together?
The 56-year-old got married to Larry Caputo in 1989, and they were together until 2018. As of now, they are not together, but they seem to be on amicable terms.
In one episode of 'Long Island Medium,' Larry confessed about what went wrong between them. He said, "We're having a difficult time. I think a lot of the frustration has to do with us not spending time together anymore."
The Sun reports that Theresa and Larry were facing a lack of communication. Larry explained, "Along with that comes the lack of communication, so it's like losing your best friend. It's hard."
The former couple welcomed two kids, Larry Caputo Jr and Victoria Caputo, during their 28 years of marriage.
