'Game of Thrones' prequel 'House of the Dragon' Episode 2 release date: Here's what to expect from second chapter
With 'House of the Dragon' Episode 1 in the books, the wait for the second chapter becomes that much harder. The HBO prequel of the critically-acclaimed 'Game of Thrones' opened to rave reviews from critics and fans. After what can be rightfully called an explosive start to the season, the focus now shifts towards Episode 2.
Titled 'The Rogue Prince', the second episode will shed light on the bitter Prince Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith) who was snubbed as the successor to King Viserys I (Paddy Constantine). Instead, it was Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen (Milly Alcock) who was looked at as the inheritor of the Iron Throne. With Daemon more of a man ruling with an iron fist and showboating it, he was looked over setting the tone for the demise of the House Targaryen.

Then comes the part of Lady Alicent being groomed as the second queen for Viserys, much to the chagrin of some members of the Targaryen family. There's enough happening in the second episode.
