'House Of Payne' Season 9 Episode 22 Spoilers: Will Calvin and Miranda kiss and reconcile before finale?
It's the night for 'House Of Payne' and we're running full steam ahead with the Calvin (Lance Gross) and Miranda (Keshia Knight Pulliam) sordid tale. There had been a long pause on their travails, as the showrunners were busy setting Jazmine (China Anne McClaine) for disappointment. Now that Jazzy is out of the way with her boyfriend, Kaleb, who turned out to be a bit of a douchey soul, we're back to the main couple of the show. The synopsis sounds oddly familiar, probably because Miranda has tried such tricks before. "Miranda visits Ella in hopes of running into Calvin."
Miranda has been pretending to move on with other people and going on dates, but no one honestly seems to care much. In Episode 9, Calvin brought a new girl home, Laura, to meet his parents. This led to an awkward run-in with Miranda. Laura uncovers the truths of the toxic relationship between Calvin and Miranda and decides to leave him...only to return to him later. In Episode 10, a frustrated Calvin kicks Miranda out of the house, much to Ella's (Cassi Davis) disappointment. Oh right, we completely forgot that Calvin and Miranda shared a kiss at the end of Episode 9, something that no one seems to remember.
Later, after Calvin and Laura reconciled, he says she is the girl that he wants to marry. However, Laura sets the rules down for Calvin and tells him that she heard he was a bad husband and that he had a 'wandering eye'. She heard all this from Miranda, as it turns out that the two are close friends. Miranda walked in on them kissing, and then there was no mention of their storyline, as Jazmine's vape pen took centerstage.
To be honest, viewers wanted to learn more about Calvin and Miranda rather than rooting for them to get back together because they had made each other practically miserable during the course of their relationship. There were cases of infidelity, unnecessary yelling and much abuse. Miranda was tired of Calvin not doing anything for himself, and just sitting back and relaxing. Now, Calvin has a thriving job and has made something of himself, after long last. So will the two get back together now, before the series ends?
'House Of Payne' airs on Wednesdays at 8 pm on BET.
