LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: On Friday, February 17, 'Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania', the first movie from Phase 5 of Marvel Studios, will be out. Recently, the studio released brand-new footage showing Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton) in action. She was seen struggling to master her new power suit in new footage from the movie.

When Scott (Paul Rudd) and Cassie are captured by a bunch of rebels in the Quantum Realm at this point in the film, they band together when they realise that Kang (Jonthan Majors) is a shared adversary. The new clip has fans questioning the quality of CGI used in the upcoming movie.

What's happening in the new clip?

When Scott and Cassie are captured by a bunch of rebels in the Quantum Realm, they band together to fight against Kang. Cassie decides to assist in the battle as the Conqueror's men attack, putting her new suit to the test for the first time. The aspiring hero is still getting her bearings, so her father offers her some advice, "Jump... tap!"

'Looks absolutely horrendous'

After the new clip was released, fans didn't quite like the CGI used in the upcoming film. A fan tweeted, "Looks absolutely horrendous." Another tweeted, "This wouldn’t be awful if it didn’t have such L(low) CGI". Another chipped in, "I love the MCU with all my heart, but you can’t tell me that some of the CGI is SO off."

"The cgi looks bad and it is REALLY CHOPPY," another fan chimed in, with yet another commenting, "From the looks of it this scene should be deleted cgi is trash , just showcasing a father & daughter bond, nothing more nothing less." An angry fan tweeted, "How is the CGI so bad that even the growing and shrinking looks off? Like there’s been two Ant-Man movies and multiple appearances… there’s no excuse for it to look so bad…" "Why does it look so unfinished? Especially the CGI, Cassie running at the start looks so bad!," another user added.
