'Hitmen' is a comedy series that originally premiered in the UK on Sky one in March 2020. The British series starring Sue Perkins and Mel Giedroyc is set to premiere its Season 1 on Peacock, chronicling the life of two best friends that decide to into the murder of hire business. Both leads are formed 'Great British Bake Off' hosts! Here is all we know of the series and its upcoming release.

Plot

A detailed synopsis from IMDb reads, "Fran and Jamie are best friends and business partners - they just happen to kill people for a living. Having stumbled into a career in contract killing, the misfit duo are definitely not your typical killers for hire."

Giedroyc is known for her role as Trudi in 'Spies of Warsaw' (2013) and as a presenter on 'The Great British Baking Show' (2010-2016), 'Rock Horror Show Live' (2015) and Mist in 'Mist: Sheepdog Tales' (2007-2009). Her most recent roles include 'Comedy Bloopers' (2015), 'The Complete Walk: The Merry Wives of Windsor' (2016), 'Horrible Histories' (2017) and 'How To Build A Girl' (2019).

Perkins is known for her role as an ice show director in 'Last Christmas' (2019), a presenter on 'The Great British Baking Show' (2010-2016) and Messenger Bird in 'Dinotopia' (2002-2003). Her most recent roles include 'Comic Relief: Mama Mia! Here We Go Yet Again' (2019), 'Apple & Onion' (2019) and 'Reasons to Be Cheerful With Matt Lucas' (2020). She is also a writer and her credits include 'Heading Out', 'Banana' (2015) and the most recent 'Urban Myths' (2020).
