There's always something exciting about tuning in to 'Shark Tank'. Apart from the fact that you'll probably come across some whacky ideas, there's always a good chance you'll see some fantastic ones get recognized. The 'Shark Tank' investors know talent when they see it, and that's not always an easy feat. A seemingly simple and ingenious product can go on to be an absolute success, even beyond its creator's wildest dreams – it's up to the investor to realize the product's true potential. It's safe to say that Barbara Corcoran knows how to spot talent, seeing that she struck a deal with the Speciale Brothers, investing in their product, 'The Comfy'. She made the right call – the product became the 5th best selling item to come out of the show.

The brains behind ' The Comfy'

The story behind ' The Comfy' is quite a heart-warming one. Micheal Speciale was going through his divorce at the time and was staying with his brother, Brian Speciale. Micheal Speciale noticed his nephew, Saxon, roaming around in Brian Speciale's old hoodie, which was obviously far too big for him. Yet, the boy looked absolutely comfortable. It's here that Micheal turned to Brian and asked if something like that could be made for adults? They noticed a throw blanket and just like that, the prototype of 'The Comfy' was born.

How much did Barbara Corcoran invest?

Real estate Titan Barbara Corcoran has been part of the show since 2009 and has seen and invested in a fair share of products and inventions. Some stand above the rest. Brian and Micheal Speciale fall under that category. Although the brothers were looking for $50,000 for 20 percent, they finally settled for Corcoran, who asked for 30 percent. The brothers had to give up more equity than planned, but by looking at how successful the business is, it seems like it was worth it, seeing that The Comfy is now one of Corcoran's most successful investments.

How much is the company currently making and what is Brian's net worth?

In the end, both Corcoran's investment and the Speciale's idea paid off big time - retailing at $39.99 each, The company has gone on to make $150 million. While Speciale's net worth isn't available just yet, we're sure he's making a pretty penny, looking at The Comfy sales and the fact that he's now also on a new reality TV show.

Speciale, who co-runs the extremely successful 'The Comfy' with his brother, is now on the lookout for a new home. Seeing that there has been a lifestyle change since he was on Season 9 of 'Shark Tank', he's now looking for an upgrade. Enter Clinton Kelly, the award-winning host of 'Chew' and 'What Not To Wear'. In this episode of 'Self-Made Mansions', Kelly helps Speciale pick out a brand new home.
