Here’s when ‘The Nurse’ on Netflix drops: Release date, time and how to watch Danish crime drama
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Netflix's Danish crime drama 'The Nurse' will follow the story of a Danish nurse, Pernille Kurzmann, inside the walls of a hospital on Denmark's outskirts, where she observes crime carried out by those trusted with providing care. Kristian Corfixen's award-winning nonfiction true-crime book 'The Nurse: The True Story Behind One of Scandinavia's Most Notorious Criminal Trials' serves as the basis for the series. The series is based on an actual account of a Danish nurse who had been convicted of the attempted manslaughter of four patients.
The four-episode true-crime drama is directed by Kasper Barfoed, who also wrote the script with Dorte Warnoe Hogh for Netflix. Nina Leidersdorff and Morten Kjems Hytten Juhl under SAM Productions produce it. The series' executive producer is Meta Louise Foldager Sorensen. This upcoming series is similar to 'The Good Nurse', a Netflix crime drama starring Eddie Redmayne and Jessica Chastain. Josephine Park and Fanny Louise Bernth play the titular roles in the series.
