Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn say "Auf Wiedersehen" to Project Runway' as they start their "next great fashion adventure" with Amazon Studios

This may be auf wiedersehen for now, but it does not mean it is goodbye forever as Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn will be returning for a new fashion-oriented series for Amazon.

After 16 seasons, longtime judge Heidi Klum and mentor Tim Gunn, stars who turned 'Project Runway' into one of the biggest cable reality-TV hits of the previous decade, are bidding adieu to the TV series and jumping onto the streaming bandwagon.

The duo has signed a deal with Amazon Studios to develop a new fashion-oriented reality show for the streaming giant. However, the details of the program are not known as yet and no producers are attached to the show yet either.

Klum took to Instagram to announce the news. “After 16 incredible seasons, I am saying ‘Auf Wiedersehen’ to ‘Project Runway,’ a show that I was honoured to host and help create,” said Klum. “I am incredibly proud of the show, and it will always have a special place in my heart. I am so appreciative of the dedicated fans, and most of all, I am grateful that we could shine a light on creativity and help launch so many talented designers’ careers.
