'He is Psychometric' starring Jin Young as Lee Ahn and Shin Ye-eun as Yoon Jae-in in lead roles premiered on tvN on Monday at 9.30 pm. The show also stars Kim Kwon and Kim Da-som in pivotal roles.
The show has an interesting premise and revolves around Lee Ahn who, as a young boy, gets stuck in a lift with his parents during a fire accident. His parents are killed in the accident but he is saved by a fireman. Lee Ahn then realizes that he has become psychometric and now has the ability to discover facts and feelings about people by touching them or objects related to them.
The first two episodes of 'He is Psychometric' introduce us to an interesting set of characters. Kang Seung Mo (Kim Kwon), a fellow survivor, becomes Lee Ahn's older sibling. He has grown up to become a prosecutor while Lee Ahn trains to become an official psychometric. Eun Ji-soo (Da-som) is a detective who takes the help of Lee Ahn from time to time to understand and stop crime. The circumstances of the accident in which Lee Ahn lost his parents are suspicious and Lee Ahn is also in search of the truth.
We also see Jae-in, a high school student, switch schools multiple times and yet stay on top of her class. She is hiding something traumatic from her past and the only one who can unearth her secret is Lee Ahn. The conditions under which Lee Ahn and Jae-in meet are, however, less than favourable. The interaction between the two is entertaining from the get-go and can only get better after this.
Lee Ahn and Jae-in's paths did crossover is the past but neither are initially aware of it. The conflicts that this would provide for the show will make a compelling to watch.

Jin Young, who plays Lee Ahn, is one of the members of the band GOT7. He looks fantastic as the corrupt teenager who at heart is hurt over losing his parents. He hooks you right from the start and is one of the main reasons why this show is set to become a favourite among K-Drama fans.
Shin Ye-eun, who is relatively new, also looks set to make a good impression with her performance in the show.

'He is Psychometric' takes over the slot of 'The Crowned Clown' and will be followed by 'Abyss' in May 2019. The show will air on Mondays and Tuesdays at 9.30 pm. 'He is Psychometric' will consist of 16 episodes and will conclude on April 20, 2019. The show can be streamed on Rakuten Viki Global TV with English subtitles.
