On Extermination Day in Hell, residents face a life-or-death battle for the first time in 10,000 years. Charlie Morningstar, the Princess of Hell, rallies an army of cannibals, led by her close friends, to fight for their survival.
Who kills Adam?
As Alastor and Sir Pentious fail to stop Adam, Charlie takes charge to fight him. After a fierce fight, Adam launches a brutal attack on Charlie. In a surprising turn of events, Lucifer returns and saves Charlie.
The battle continues and the father-daughter duo manages to defeat Adam. As Lucifer is about to kill Adam, Charlie convinces him to show mercy. However, the little Janitor, named Niffty stabs Adam recalling Charlie's order to kill an angel when she sees one.
Lute, Adam's alias, is left with no choice but to return to Heaven after losing the battle.
The mystery behind Lilith's disappearance unravels
The episode concludes with visuals of Sir Pentious at the gates of Heaven while Alastor is seen frustrated as he hopes for freedom of his trapped soul.
Meanwhile, Lucifer inspires Charlie to rebuild her hotel and carry on with her ultimate mission of redemption. However, the viewers are left on a cliffhanger as Lucifer's wife, Lilith, who went missing several years ago, is seen relaxing in Heaven.
What is Lilith doing in Heaven? Did she join hands with her old lover Adam and betray Lucifer? Hopefully, we'll get our answers in Season 2.
