'Hawkeye' Episode 3: Will The Kingpin aka Wilson Fisk appear in the series?

Fisk has made some appearances in Marvel films and TV shows in the past

'Hawkeye' opened to some intense action and one of the storylines was Maya Lopez/Echo's (Alaqua Cox) past being explained. Although she was born deaf, the show also showed she had a prosthetic leg making sure her character history was nailed to perfection. Her past where her uncle was her massive support was captured briefly, but even more stunning was the subtle tease that The Kingpin/Wilson Fisk would appear in the series at some stage.

Fisk has made some appearances in Marvel films and TV shows in the past. The character was portrayed by John Rhys-Davies in 'The Trial of the Incredible Hulk', Michael Clarke Duncan in 'Daredevil', Vincent D'Onofrio in the MCU series 'Daredevil', and was even voiced by Liev Schreiber in the 2018 animated flick, 'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse'.

Echo was Fisk's adoptive daughter and the episode gave glimpses of their relationship. Although the face wasn't revealed, the other tease was when Kazi (Fra Fee) refers to her father as uncle and that may have been the ultimate tease to bring one of the famed villains into MCU's Phase 4. Fans on Twitter were convinced that the figure was indeed Fisk and speculated if he would make an appearance in the MCU.

"#Hawkeye spoilers . . . . . . EXACTLY. HE'S COMING HOME. #WilsonFisk #Daredevil" read one of the tweets. This was seconded by another who wrote, "Es Wilson Fisk!!!!! (kingpin) #Hawkeye." The guesses continued to roll. "Was that Wilson Fisk/Kingpin in episode 3 of #HawkeyeSeries #HAWKEYE ? Yes, yes that was."
