'Hamilton': Disney releases trailer for stage-to-screen film of Lin-Manuel Miranda's award-winning Broadway show
'Hamilton' is an absolute icon of Broadway, a musical that has transcended the stage to become a part of the cultural fabric of America. And now, Disney is all set to release a recorded version of the musical play on their streaming service Disney+. Filmed at The Richard Rodgers Theatre on Broadway in June of 2016, the movie promises to transport its audience into the world of the Broadway show in a uniquely intimate way. The trailer for the movie features a medley of some of the show's most popular tunes and has got us hyped up for what is to come.

The play is an 11-time-Tony Award winner and has earned a Grammy, six Olivier Awards, and a Pulitzer Prize. 'Hamilton' was produced by Thomas Kail, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Jeffrey Seller, with Sander Jacobs and Jill Furman serving as executive producers.
