Giving a tough time to hard-core fans, 'Grey's Anatomy' Season 16 wrapped up its first half with episode nine titled 'Let's All Go to the Bar.' The startling fall finale ended with many puzzling questions and mysteries and left them panic-stricken with a shocking cliffhanger. A car crashed into the window of the local Seattle hangout, Joe's Bar, where several major members of the cast and 'Station 19' characters were present.

With so many lives in danger, the suspenseful end seems to have left viewers with the question: Who will die after 'Grey's Anatomy' returns in January after its midseason break? Will Jackson, Richard, Ben, Captain Pruitt, Levi, Nico and the rest of the interns all make it out alive? "You cannot end the fall finale of #GreysAnatomy with a car crashing into the bar and leave me here until JANUARY!!!" one tweet read.

"Ok but who’s gonna die from this car crash ?! #GreysAnatomy I got my money on Jackson," one fan wrote and another one said, "Why do I keep going back to Grey's when it keeps screwing us over. Bailey miscarried, Amelia's baby isn't Links, Ben might die. Really."

Meanwhile, many fans simply wanted Owen's character to be chopped off even though he wasn't in the bar. "I know he wasn't in the bar but I NEED Owen to DIE! also Jackson, Glasses, the whatshisname who dumped Mer, the guy from Ally McBeal, and the girl intern who likes Mer to die. I'm so excited about this classic Grey's disaster. Hope it takes out half the characters."

"All I’m saying is I hope Owen is in that car, thrown from the car, anything possible because I am SO OVER the bullshit with his character. Shonda has the nerve to kill off everyone we love and the audacity to keep those we hate", another fan wrote.

With the big cliffhanger, viewers can't wait to see what will happen in the next episode. So when can you expect to see the longest-running medical show again? It is expected that after a short hiatus during the Christmas period, 'Grey's Anatomy' will return to the channel on January 23 with a major two-hour Station 19 crossover episode.
