'Grey's Anatomy' Season 16 Episode 8 Preview: Will Meredith lose her license forever or get her job back at Grey-Sloan?
The last chapter, Episode 7, of 'Grey's Anatomy' Season 16 left fans in tears after Maggie lost her cousin Sabrina in a failed surgery. Moreover, the episode also highlighted a heated exchange between Owen and Amelia after the latter broke her pregnancy news.
As a new episode airs next week, what will unfold in the lives of the rest of the characters? Titled 'My Shot', the synopsis for episode eight reads: "Meredith faces the medical board as her future as a doctor remains uncertain, and she’s forced to reckon with her past in some challenging ways."
It further reads, "Meanwhile, the interns are put to the test as they are each vying to be the most successful in their respective cases in the absence of some of the attendings."
In a 30-second promo released by the makers, Meredith's court hearing is being held and a crowd comes in support of her. How far will they go to protect one of their own? Towards the end of the clip, Miranda Bailey comes in front of the judge with a new argument. What does she have to say?
Fans, however, are in support of Meredith and want to see her back on the show in full form. "If Meredith Grey loses her medical license, I'm changing my major. I am not going to school to practice medicine if Meredith Grey is no longer allowed to practice medicine," one fan wrote.
Another one posted, "I love how this season is focusing on 2 hospitals. If Meredith keeps her license, she can work somewhere beside Grey Sloan Memorial."
Another user posted, "In some days we might even get to see Bailey in Pac North. Alex, please hire Meredith I'm missing her working a lot."
The episode airs next Thursday, November 14, 2019, and it will finally shed light on Meredith's future as a doctor. Moreover, the judgment might also affect Richard and Alex's professional careers.
