‘Good Witch' Season 6: Release date, plot, cast, trailer, and all you need to know about the charming Hallmark series
After five successful seasons, the Hallmark comedy-drama is back on air with an all-new sixth season. Here’s what Cassie and Sam have in store for you!
Release Date
‘Good Witch’, which began airing in 2015, will see Season 6 premiere on Sunday, May 3 at 9:00 PM/8:00c, only on Hallmark.
Plot
The supernatural comedy series follows the magical journey and daily adventures of Cassie Nightingale and her daughter Grace, both of whom are witches, so to speak. However, they are good-hearted and well-meaning to say the least. When Dr. Sam Radford moves in with his son as the next-door neighbor, they are charmed by the mother-daughter duo.
Throughout the last five seasons, Cassie has been exploring her magical powers. Her neighbor Sam soon fell in love with her and they eventually got married. Season 5 ended with Grace’s graduation and Cassie trying to make her daughter’s special day truly magical.
Season 6 is expected to see Grace leaving home. However, there is no update on when and how her exit will happen from the story.
The new season will open with Sam and Cassie’s first wedding anniversary as they prepare the Grey House for their guest Joy who seems to be spying on the Merriwicks.
Cast
‘Good Witch’ features Catherine Bell and James Denton in the leading roles. The main cast will be back for the new season 6, along with many others.
Catherine Bell plays the widowed (and now married) Cassie Nightingale, the enchantress.
James Denton plays the role of Dr. Sam Radford, Cassie’s neighbor, town doctor, and now husband.
Bailee Madison, who plays the role of Grace Russell, Cassie’s daughter, will be there for part of the season.
Other cast members include Rhys Matthew Bond, Sarah Power and Catherine Disher.
Showrunner
The supernatural comedy series is created by Sue Tenney and Craig Pryce for Hallmark Channel.
