Spoiler alert for Episode 16 of ‘Good Trouble’ Season 2B

While a few new relationships were born during the Valentine’s Day celebration at the Coterie, some were put to test. The get together united the Foster sisters, only to drive them farther apart as they engaged in their usual bickering which is amplified by the growing distance and difference in opinions.

‘Good Trouble’ Season 2B enters Episode 16 showing Davia Boheme (Emma Hunton) trying to mend her relationship with Andre (Terrell Ransom Jr.) by diving deep into intricates of different races and racial prejudices using the book Malika presented her.

To establish a better relationship with her students, Davia tells the principal of the school that she’s against the idea of enforcing the law on teenagers as disciplinary measures in the name of the diversion program. Davia, who agrees to join the equity committee, is in a dilemma as her decision puts her in a tough spot, threatening her position in the school.

Meanwhile, Callie Adams Foster (Maia Mitchell) seems to be bothered by Jamie Hunter’s (Beau Mirchoff) past relationship on learning that the ring Mariana found in his wardrobe was the same one he used to propose his ex-girlfriend Heather, although Jamie tries to shrug it off. He even tells Callie that he’s willing to consider the possibilities of them getting married, but she seems skeptical about their values matching.

However, even before she could process the developments in her love life, she’s shocked to see Jamie at her office negotiating for Onway. She regrets dropping out of the case on realizing that Jamie lied to her about his role in the case. And once again, she is seen weighing her decision to settle with Jamie as she feels his persuasiveness blindsided her.

The episode also dwells on Evan Speck (TJ Linnard) and Mariana Adams Foster's (Cierra Ramirez) budding relationship, while Raj Patil (Dhruv Uday Singh) and Isabella’s (Priscilla Quintana) tryst continues. However, it comes across as surprising when one of the most beloved couples, Miraj, decides to break up, admitting to their respective feelings for Evan and Isabella.

Although magic tricks and fancy costumes bring Raj and Isabella close Mariana sees trouble ensue in her relationship with Evan even before it takes off. Her success is being treated as a favor from Evan as the news about his investment in her app accidentally leaks due to Raj’s idiocy.

Mariana refuses to act on her feelings for Evan and chooses to walk away as she doesn’t want to jeopardize her reputation at Spekulate.

As the Foster sisters and Davia are faced with new challenges both in their personal and professional lives, it remains to be seen in the upcoming episodes how they are going to deal with them in order to put their lives back on track.

'Good Trouble' Season 2B airs on Wednesdays on Freeform.
