'The world is ending'
The teaser makes one thing clear, "The world is ending, and we know when." There is an urgency as the survivors are seen scrambling to solve the mystery and prevent the looming calamity. Manhy of the characters mention the Death Date until it is disclosed that the final episodes will be out on June 2. After the shocking conclusion of 'Manifest' Season 4 Part 1, fans cannot wait to see the finale.
Among the many programs in the mystery genre, 'Manifest' is among the best. The wildly successful ABC programme ‘Lost’, was also similar. The programme ended in 2010 after six seasons but reviewers and viewers criticized the ending. There were also other short-lived shows in the same genre such as 'Under the Dome' and 'FlashForward'. These did not leave much of a mark.
Trailer releases, fans respond with excitement on YouTube
Once the teaser dropped, fans could not handle their excitement. A fan commented on YouTube, "Thank God they renewed for the final season. Waiting for it." Another commented, "This is such a magnificent serie! I really like it." Some fans speculated why the teaser was released on April 7, as one wrote, "The announcement date is not accidental. In the series, the plane disappears on April 7, 2013. Exactly 10 years ago." Another added, "Oh my days, today is April 7th...10 years after the plane disappeared....and part 2 releases on June 2nd, the death date. It's all connected."
There were emotional fans as well, as one commented, "Gonna cry so hard during the last episode, wish there were so many more seasons, but thankful for this extra one to give us the answers we need!" while another chimed in, "Can't tell you how excited I am for this."
