Gigi Hadid is 'fine' with ex Zayn Malik romancing Selena Gomez but there's one condition, reveals source
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Gigi Hadid reportedly has no problem with her ex-boyfriend, Zayn Malik, moving on in life with Selena Gomez. Hadid and Malik were involved together from 2015 to 2021 but they did not have a stable relationship during all those years. However, the two had also welcomed a daughter named Khai Hadid Malik in September 2020.
But in 2021, they finally got separated after it was reported that the 30-year-old British singer had a violent altercation with Hadid’s mother, Yolanda. Moreover, now it seems he is taking interest in Selena Gomez. Recently, a TikTok also user claimed that the two were together at an unnamed restaurant in New York City.

'They walked in holding hands'
Also, an insider shared their knowledge on the matter with Entertainment Tonight and said, “Selena and Zayn went out in SoHo in New York City last night at around 10.30 pm. They walked in holding hands and were kissing. Most restaurant staff and restaurantgoers didn't notice them. It seemed like they were comfortable together and it was clear that it was a date.”
Another insider told Us Weekly that Hadid has no issue with the supposedly new romance. They claimed, “Gigi has no problem whatsoever with Zayn dating. As long as he is happy and stable and continues to be a good co-parent to [their daughter] Khai, she’s fine with whoever he goes out with.”
'They’re well suited'
It has also been reported that the ‘One Direction’ star’s family is happy with the new progress in his life. An insider cited by The Sun said, “Zayn’s life has been turbulent in recent years and his loved ones are hopeful that Selena will help ground him and be a calming influence. They’re well suited and are both quite spiritual, so could be a great match in the long run.”
