A social media user claimed one of her friends is a hostess at a restaurant where Zayn Malik and Selena Gomez were spotted together

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Rumors of a possible romantic relationship between Selena Gomez and Zayn Malik have taken social media by storm. The speculation started after a TikTok video by user Klarissa Garcia went viral, where she claimed that she had received a screen-grab from a friend who works as a hostess at a restaurant where Gomez and Malik were allegedly seen kissing during a dinner date.

Enthusiastic fans found a clip from 2010, where Gomez was asked which 'One Direction' singer she would choose to kiss, and the ‘Fetish’ singer blushed and said, “Zayn.” The singer has also dated famous pop stars, including 'The Weeknd'. They dated back in 2017, while she was having an off-periods from Justin Bieber. On the other side, Malik was in a relationship with model Gigi Hadid, with whom he shares a daughter Khai, 2, as per the Daily Mail.

Apparently, many TikTokers started reacting to the alleged rumors, where one wrote, “Is this true???? Please tell me it's true,' 'She deserves all the happiness in the world,' 'I love this for her,' Ooooooo!!! I really hope this is true!!!' and 'It's giving the best comeback.” Another fan who wasn’t too keen on trusting Garcia's post reacted by saying, “Nooo Gigi likes her and she comments on her post and likes her pictures. Girl code.” Twitter was also buzzing with reports of Malik and Gomez dating, where one user said, "Omg they would look great together if they are indeed taking this somewhere, praying🙏🏾"
