NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: While Gigi Hadid and Leonardo DiCaprio have kept their lips sealed about their ongoing romance, it appears that the model's mother Yolanda has different plans. The mother of three (Gigi, Bella, and Anwar) is "over the moon" about the couple's relationship signaling that she approves of the couple's romance. As per Life and Style Magazine, Yolanda is glad that her daughter has moved on from ex-Zayn Malik and is starting a new chapter in life. Sources also confirmed that Gigi would certainly not forgive Zayn after he disrespected her mother.
Gigi and Zayn broke off their long-term relationship of six years in October 2021. Soon after, the model and singer stayed in touch as co-parents of their daughter Khai. While Gigi did not comment on the matter publicly, Zayn decided to come clean. He tweeted on October 28, 2021, about the alleged physical conflict with Yolanda. However, the details were kept secret. The British singer pled a no-contest plea to four charges of harassment.

The former couple are trying to work things out as co-parents as well as spending time together. A source claimed, "They’ve been spending time together away from prying eyes. They’ll go for walks or have lunch in Pennsylvania. Just simple things, really." However, with Yolanda holding a grudge over the whole conflict, there is a high chance that the ex-lovers might not get back together anytime soon.
