'Ghosted: Love Gone Missing' sees hosts Travis Mills and Rachel Lindsay help troubled individuals track down a lover, a family member, friend, or relative who ghosted them so that they could get closure on the same and move ahead. After a decently successful Season 1, the show is back with another chapter but this one is completely virtual and self-shot, in short, a pandemic-friendly season where the hosts do all the sleuthing from the safe confines of their homes. The first case they were investigating was of Joanna, a single mother, who worked as a manager at a departmental store.

Joanna met Aaron in March 2019 after she stepped into his rideshare to go pick up her son. That is when she and her son as well bonded with Aaron. She invited him to come along to a party that same evening and the rest was history. The two were inseparable and perfect like love birds, according to Oneisha, Joanna's best friend who was also helping in the investigation. Rachel and Travis had reached out to Joanna after they found a "single" update on Joanna's social media profile, however, she had said that she was ghosted only in October 2019. The timeline wasn't adding up and they decided to reach out to Oneisha to know a little bit about Joanna and Aaron's relationship. It was then that Oneisha revealed that the "single" update was because Aaron had tried to flirt with her at a club post which she bought it up with Joanna who broke up with him briefly and took him back after he apologized.

Something seemed out of place to the hosts after they reconnected with Joanna and confronted her about not being honest about her breakup in July. At this point, Joanna gets really defensive and there are two scenarios that cross Travis and Rachel's mind: either Joanna is really at fault here or she just doesn't want to entertain any negative talk about her relationship with Aaron. Also, the fact that she chose to reinstate Aaron as her boyfriend even after knowing he cheated on her left them thinking if she was only interested in him because he also acted as a father figure for her son while they were together. Tune in to the episode to find out.

'Ghosted: Love Gone Missing' airs Wednesday nights at 8 pm ET on MTV.
