Kim Garam’s bullying scandal is getting extremely disastrous as the 16-year-old idol is getting harassed in person by Korean fans who have dropped her over rumors. The Le Sserafim member had been embroiled in a scandal just before her debut as some alleged victims shared that Garam had bullied them when they were in school. Despite her label, HYBE and Source Music sharing that the rumors were false and that they would be taking legal action, the victims continued to speak up.

Since school bullying in South Korea is extremely violent, Korean fans and Knetizens have decided to ignore Garam. And now even non-fans are worried since HYBE is staying silent on the matter instead of putting her on hiatus or providing evidence. Many feel that the experience could be traumatic for Garam if in case she truly is innocent. And so some Le Sserafim fans have taken it upon themselves to bring proof that not only is the idol innocent but she just might have been a victim of school bullies.

Fans share ‘proof’ of Garam being bullied

A Le Sserafim fan page decided to dig into the social media accounts of Garam’s classmates and shared screenshots of a Kim Chae-eun making rude comments to Kim Garam like “I’ll f**k you.” Another screenshot showed Hye-rim writing that if Garam cut contact with her she would “die.” A dance team page of which Garam was a part of had several comments where members were mocking and being sarcastic to her.

The rumor that Garam was indecent since she constantly talked about sex and wanted to sleep with BTS’ V was allegedly made by classmates who were then later seen making laughing comments under a post that talked about Garam’s ruined reputation. The fan page also shared Instagram story screenshots of the accuser in which she is drinking and partying while being a minor — the same thing that Garam had been accused of.

One of the photos that had been circulating was of a girl sitting on another girl’s back and pulling her hair. The fan page had reported that the aggressor was Chae-eun and the girl underneath was Garam. However, the person in the picture shared the post and said that it was her and her friend Lee Soo-min who were playing around and that they were two years younger than Garam so they were not the bullies the Le Sserafim fan page had assumed. But with HYBE themselves sharing that Garam had been a victim of bullying, fans are now starting to believe the idol.

'Garam is a victim'

Fans are divided over the fan page's claims after one of the photos turned out to be of two other classmates. One tweeted, “So pretty much made people harass the wrong person and used google translate to imply something that wasn’t there. Fans need to stop playing detective and just leave it to Hybe. The answers will eventually come out.” Another shared, “Guys..this is the original op who posted the thread..that op deleted because they ONLY mistaken the girl but all the proofs they debunked, those comments are allegedly true..only that girl photo!! Garam is a victim..the ppl in qrt pls read this.”

One user said, “Yeah see y'all gotta stop playing detective bc why would you do this.” Another posted, “Stand w the victim first" agreed. But now that the other case has opened about garam being the one getting bullied, why is everyone still judging her? I mean, isn't it now 50:50? Where's the energy of standing w the victim.” One fan was torn, “Honestly idk… the evidence for her innocence is mainly provided by fans… i won’t believe any evidence that isn’t provided by the company… so…? who knows… i wish hybe would say something already…”

But one fan pointed out, “What’s upsetting is that hybe literally said grm was a victim of bullying herself and everyone chose to ignore that and continue harassing her online.” Another fan brought up ex-(G)I-DLE Soojin's case, "All this Kim Garam thing, after what happened with Soojin it pisses me off how a female idol can get her career and reputation destroyed in seconds. There was no proof for Soojin yet she got kicked, there's proof of Kim Garam being the one bullied yet she's getting hate."
