The Gaon Chart Music Awards is one of the most-awaited major K-pop award shows that have started dropping details for their next edition. Following the nominees and lineups of award shows like MAMA 2021, AAA 2021 and MMA 2021, we now have the reputable South Korean Gaon Charts getting ready for their annual award show.

The Gaon Chart Music Awards was launched in 2011 and since then, has awarded and honored K-pop artists for their commercial success and influence with their recent releases. The 10th edition held in January 2021 was at CJ E&M Center and was hosted by Super Junior’s Leeteuk, Itzy’s Lia, comedian JaeJae and singer Joo Young-hoon. Artists like BTS, EXO’s Baekhyun, Seventeen, Zico, Blackpink and IU were awarded at the previous edition. Now, for the 11th Gaon Chart Music Awards which will be held in 2022, the nominees have been announced.

The Gaon Chart Music Awards 2022 will be held on January 27, 2022 at 7 pm KST (5 am ET).

Where to watch

The 11th Gaon Chart Music Awards will be broadcast on Youtube channels gaonchart and 1theK, KakaoTV, and MelOn. It might also be live-streamed for free on VLive like the previous editions. Limited numbers of fans can also view the K-pop award show on the Mubeat app like last year.

Hosts

The hosts of the 11th Gaon Chart Music Awards are Super Junior's Eunhyuk and STAYC's Sieun.
