LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Amazon Prime Video, a global streaming service, has announced its upcoming release, 'Gangs of Lagos', the platform's first African Original movie. The highly anticipated film, directed by the acclaimed filmmaker Jáde Osiberu, will be available worldwide, including in Nigeria and sub-Saharan Africa. The movie has already generated excitement within Nollywood, the second-largest film industry in the world.

Prime Video's diverse collection of global Amazon Original and Exclusive series and movies, which includes popular titles like 'The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power', 'The Boys', 'Riches', and 'Coming 2 America', has been expanded with the addition of Nigerian content. 'Gangs of Lagos' is a raw and intense crime thriller that delves into the lives of a close-knit group of childhood friends, as they navigate their way through the bustling streets and neighborhoods of Isale Eko, Lagos. With a gripping and authentic storyline, the movie explores the challenges and struggles that each of them faces in their journey toward fulfilling their destinies.
