'Game of Thrones' season 8 spoiler: Tormund and Beric's fate revealed in accidental script leak!

'Game of Thrones' season 8 spoiler: Tormund and Beric's fate revealed in accidental script leak!

GoT had to submit their script to the Emmys, to earn the nomination in the category of Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series, and the script reveals it all.

The year 2018 has already proven to be a bland time span for anybody even remotely into the epic HBO drama, 'Game of Thrones.' While it has been bittersweet with regards to the popular GoT couple, Kit Harrington and Rose Leslie tying the knot, the fact that the show's highly anticipated eighth and final season is still a year away has been killing fans.

While you're eagerly waiting for it, like us, we have a teeny-tiny update to get you all by the dreary wait.

Remember when the seventh season left us hanging by the edge on Tormund Giantsbane and Beric Dondarrion's fate? Like - did they survive the white-walking Viserion's attack on the wall? Well, the answers are finally in!

Tormund and Beric were the two characters left to The North Wall while the Night King and his resurrected ice-dragon wrecked havoc on everybody fighting against them. The episode ends without revealing what happens of the two men - whether they survive the attack or succumb. But luckily for fans, HBO had to submit their script to the Emmys, to earn a nomination in the category of Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series, reported express.co.uk.

And this said script - which is now online - happens to drop heavy hints that Tormund and Beric, in fact, did make it out alive. The specific extract reads: "Tormund and Beric lead their wildling comrades to the stairs carved in the ice — Eastwatch has a massive zig-zag stairway, not an elevator like Castle Black. They run for their lives and disappear from view."

Now, it's safe to conclude that if they did happen to succumb to the White Walkers, the script would mention it - which means there's more to look forward to in the journey of our favorite Wildling and, of course, the Pirate-level cool dude full on flaunting his eyepatch look.

For all you know, our eyepatch guy could eventually turn out to be quite important in the course of the upcoming season!

While this news might cheer up fans of the show, it has also been confirmed that the shooting of the show has been completed. Emilia Clarke - who plays the role of Daenerys Targaryen aka the Khaleesi - said her farewell to the drama series in the most relaxing way possible.

Celebrating the end of filming with a 14-day vacation, Clarke had taken to Instagram just three days ago, writing: "I feel giddy and light after being suspended in a two week state of bliss sponsored sunshine," Clarke wrote on her latest Instagram post. "Who knew the end of something could bring about the start of something very good for my brain ... Niente."

'Game of Thrones' final and eighth season returns on HBO in 2019.
