Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L Jackson last shared screen space together in 'The Hitman's Bodyguard', and it was a laugh riot with ample action to boot. The action-comedy followed a bodyguard (Reynolds) who must protect a convicted notorious hitman (Jackson), who is all to testify at the International Criminal Court. The film grossed $180 million worldwide and the sequel, 'The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard' is all set to drop in 2021. Before that, the two potty-mouthed rascals will lend their voices for Quibi's upcoming animated series, 'Futha Mucka'.  Here's what we know about the series far:

Release date

There is no official date released as the series has just been greenlit. Our guess is it would either hit the end of the year or early 2021 considering how the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic has put a full-stop to all production activity. However, considering this is an animated project, things just might work differently.

Plot

It is a rather weird-reading logline: "Samuel L Jackson and Ryan Reynolds love each other. More accurately, Ryan loves Sam. When a minor mishap causes Sam to become Ryan's primary caregiver, things get weird. Quibi has announced a series order for the show." While much of the plot details are a closely-guarded secret, what we can expect is some laughs and expletives in trademark Jackson and Reynolds fashion.

Another veteran actor who could well be called a legend. He shot to prominence with films such as 'Goodfellas', 'Jungle Fever', and 'Patriot Games'. Jackson is best known for playing Agent Nick Fury in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
