LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'True Detective: Night Country', which recently premiered on HBO, has become quite popular among the followers of the crime fiction genre.

The fourth season of the anthology crime series is surrounded by several fan theories as the intriguing plot wrapped in mysteries seems to be taking a supernatural turn as it progresses.

Created by Issa Lopez, the show is set in Alaska where Jodie Foster and Kali Reis as Detectives Liz Danvers and Evangeline Navarro investigate the mysterious deaths of researchers while getting acquainted with the history and mysteries of the town.

Season 4 of 'True Detective' also revolves around the investigation of the death of researchers while also shedding light on Liz Danvers' past who dreams about her deceased son and faces trouble building a relationship with her teenage step-daughter.
