Created by Issa Lopez, the show is set in Alaska where Jodie Foster and Kali Reis as Detectives Liz Danvers and Evangeline Navarro investigate the mysterious deaths of researchers while getting acquainted with the history and mysteries of the town.

Season 4 of 'True Detective' also revolves around the investigation of the death of researchers while also shedding light on Liz Danvers' past who dreams about her deceased son and faces trouble building a relationship with her teenage step-daughter.

'Mare of Easttown' features Kate Winslet as the title character. The critically acclaimed series received 16 nominations at the 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards and won four.
