'Friendsgiving' is a upcoming comedy-drama starring acclaimed comedians and actresses such as Chelsea Peretti, Fortune Feimster, and Wanda Sykes. The film is based on an American tradition of having a family Thanksgiving dinner, but just with friends. It was initially announced in May 2018 with production completed in June 2018 and the movie is now to set to release in theaters, digitally and on-demand late October. Plot
The synopsis reads, "Molly and Abbey, along with their crew of close friends and acquaintances, host a dysfunctional, comical and chaotic Thanksgiving dinner."

Malin Akerman as Molly
Akerman is known for her roles as Laurie Jupiter from 'Watchmen' and recently starred in the kid family movie 'The Sleepover' as Margot. Having completed 'Friendsgiving', Akerman has another completed release titled 'Chick Fight' with two more releases in pre-production titled 'Cold Providence' and 'The Three of Us'. Her other notable roles include Nancy from 'The Final Girls' (2015), Annie from 'Happythankyoumoreplease' (2010), and Tess from '27 Dresses' (2008). In 2009, she won a Golden Schmoes award for Best T&A of the Year for 'Watchmen' and in 2016 was nominated for a Chainsaw Award for Best Supporting Actress for 'The Final Girls' (2015).
Chelsea Peretti as Claire
Peretti is not only a stand-up comedian but an acclaimed actress and writer best known for her role as Gina from Fox's 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' (2013). She has contributed heavily to the comedy scene in Hollywood and has garnered an intense fan base over the years. She is known for her roles as Zelda in 'Parks and Recreation' (2011-2012), Glenda in 'Game Night' (2018), and Brunette CMZ Reporter in 'Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping' (2016). Her more recent works include 'Spinster' (2019), 'Harvey Girls Forever!' (2019-2020), 'The Photograph' (2020), 'The Simpsons' (2019-2020), and 'Search Party' (2020).
