With all the protests going on across the nation about systemic racism, AMC has given fans a one-hour special of 'Friday Night In With The Morgans' hosted by Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hilarie Burton Morgan. The couple canceled the previous week's episode in order to deliver something that is actually important in the current situation and that's exactly what they are doing with this week's episode.

Featuring Yvette Nicole Brown and Colman Domingo, the celebrity talk show addressed a lot of important questions about the Black Lives Matter movement and the concept of privilege. Fans of the show are loving the special episode and many of them are taking to Twitter to share the love. "'Listen & learn. Then speak' So hard sometimes but also so so important," one fan tweeted. "Thank you for having this conversation tonight. @HilarieBurton @JDMorgan #FridayNightInWithTheMorgans." Another fan wrote, "Yvette nailed it when she said people need to ask themselves why someone saying Black lives matter upsets them so much. #FridayNightInWithTheMorgans." Another said, "@JDMorgan @HilarieBurton as this episode of #FridayNightInWithTheMorgans even gets started I've got tears in my eyes, thank you for having the spine & guts to do this episode despite the negative backlash from some." Another fan said, "Never change — YOU are the helpers. You are so needed right now."

In the episode, Brown also addressed the whole "All Lives Matter" argument saying that it's mostly because some white people take "Black Lives Matter" or conversations about racism to be a personal attack when it's really not meant to alienate but to engage.

"THIS. @YNB people get offended when you try to educate them because they assume it’s a personal attack," a fan tweeted. "#FridayNightInWithTheMorgans everyone please tune in. @HilarieBurton @JDmorgan @colmandomingo." Another said, "@JDMorgan @HilarieBurton I love that you have a platform in #FridayNightInWithTheMorgans and you use it for an amazing topic. And you couldn’t have picked better guests than @YNB @colmandomingo." One more wrote, "So glad you two are doing this @HilarieBurton @JDMorgan #FridayNightInWithTheMorgans."

Under normal circumstances, 'Friday Night In with the Morgans' is a fun distraction from the stress of the coronavirus pandemic and lockdown. However, with everything that's going on in the world right now, the Morgans decided that the time for distraction was over, putting together this special episode.

'Friday Night In with the Morgans' airs Fridays at 10 pm on AMC.
