And that means Formula One fans will get to see the fly-on-the-wall 'Drive to Survive' Season 3 on Netflix ahead of the start of the new racing season. Release date

'Formula 1: Drive to Survive' Season 3 releases March 19, 2021, on Netflix. The show will drop in at 12 am PT.

Plot

The official synopsis reads: "In the most dramatic season to date, fans will once again be taken behind the scenes, to witness first-hand how the drivers and teams battle it out for victory in a year like no other. Fans will be given unprecedented behind-the-scenes access to the 2020 season which saw the sport dramatically halted in Australia due to the Covid-19 pandemic and make a thrilling restart in Austria later that year. Intense battles, fierce rivalries, unexpected podiums, and Lewis Hamilton’s incredible seventh world title will ensure the series is one of the most action-packed yet."

The teaser trailer was typical 'Drive to Survive' — witty one-liners, high-octane action, and some montage clips from last year's racing season. The clip opens with cars lined up for the start of the first race in Austria. This is followed by clips of Sebastian Vettel's forgettable final season with Ferrari and the devastating crash of Haas' Romain Grosjean. McLaren Racing’s CEO Zak Brown can be heard saying: "We have no idea what’s going to happen."

How to live stream?

'Formula 1: Drive to Survive' can be streamed live on Netflix. The service is available all over the world including the US, UK, Canada, Europe, Australia, India, South Africa, and many other places.
