'Floribama Shore' Season 3 Episode 3: Gus tries to calm Lisa down after they argue over her birthday and fans find it hilarious

She even thought that Gus was prioritizing his cast members over her and it did not fit well with Lisa.

Gus Smyrnios came to Season Three with a different attitude and fans were quite surprised. Gus, who is often known for flirting around with different women was the first one to come clear that he was in a committed relationship with his girlfriend, Lisa Burns.

While the rest of the cast members were extremely happy for Gus it looks like Lisa and he are having some problems. In today's episode of 'Floribama Shore', Gus decided to call and wish Lisa on her birthday but unfortunately for him, Lisa did not want just a call from Gus.

"You don't care about my birthday. You are just breaking my heart," she said. "You should get your priority straight." Gus was quick to add that he has his priority straight. Lisa was extremely upset that Gus did not do anything special for her on her birthday and instead decided to just wish her on call.

She even thought that Gus was prioritizing his cast members over her and it did not fit well with Lisa. "Those guys don't know one thing about making you happy, do they?" she asked. Gus thought Lisa was not being understanding and not considering the fact that he was on a show and could not be present with her for her birthday.

To this Lisa replied, "I want to be understanding but I want what I deserve. It's my birthday." Gus reminded Lisa that they would be able to celebrate her birthday if she came down to meet him but Lisa was not happy with that answer. "I decorated my whole room for your birthday," she said.

While Lisa and Gus's conversation did not end in a pretty way fans sure did have a gala time listening to their conversation and had quite a few things to say about it. Some felt bad for Gus as one comment read, "This is such a toxic conversation.... “well I did this for you why can’t you do this for me” is toxic and controlling... he’s literally working and making money."

Another added, "Why she so emotional. I’ve been in a similar situation and did it hurt yes but what matters is celebrating together when you can. Crying is not going to help and saying I did this for you won’t either. No wonder this relationship did not work." Looks like Gus and Lisa have a long way to figure out what they want from their relationship.

Meanwhile, others commented on the age difference and wrote, "Brilliant decision to think that a relationship with a 19-year old will work when you’re in an MTV reality show." Another commented, "Birthdays are super important when you’ve only had 18 of them."

'Floribama Shore' airs on Thursdays at 8 pm on MTV.
