'Floribama Shore' should stop trying to bring Gus and Nilsa together, it's getting tiring now

Gus Smyrnios and Nilsa Prowant became the talk of the town when the pair shared a moment in Season 2. While Gus is known for his flirtatious personality, it seemed like Nilsa fell for him quite easily. Fans were loving the new couple and hoped that they would start dating soon. Unfortunately, the relationship did not go any further than what people saw on television.

Even though many had their fingers crossed for the couple, their hearts were broken when they realized that Gus had already started dating someone else. Gus started dating Lisa Burns and while it seemed like he was very serious about the relationship, viewers got to see the struggles he faced in their relationship while on Season 3.

While Gus was fixated on the fact that he loved Lisa, the two eventually broke up. However, this paved way for the network to bring in the Nilsa and Gus relationship back into the picture. After breaking up with Lisa, Gus seemed to be in a vulnerable stage where he made his way back to Nilsa.

However, this time, she did not let him in. While we thought that might be the end of it, many were left surprised when Nilsa appeared jealous when Gus was making out with a girl. To make things worse, she went on to tell the other girls in the house about the hookup she had with Gus during the filming of the last season.

Hearing this, Gus felt the need to clear the air and let Nilsa know how he really felt and what their moment in Season 2 meant. Nilsa seemed to understand where this was coming from and the conversation hinted that there won't be more of Nilsa and Gus but not surprisingly, it wasn't the end.

As it turns out, Gus decided to go back to Nilsa and flirt a bit when he was drunk. Looking at this repeated drama and confusion between the two, not only were the cast members tired but also the viewers who are starting to give up on the show. "Watching Gus and Nilsa interact is like having a portal into my embarrassing high school “love” life," read one comment.

Another added, "Nilsa and Gus are ridiculous." While this season has already stressed their relationship enough, let's hope that viewers will get a different angle to see if the show gets renewed for Season 4.

'Floribama Shore' airs on Thursdays at 8 pm ET on MTV.
