'Floribama Shore' saw a new addition to the house this season and it was none other than reality star, Mattie Lynn Breaux.

Mattie first appeared on the show when Gus Smyrnios invited her to spend some time at the beach house. Unknown to what may happen, Mattie agreed and the cast ended up having a good time.

In fact, the cast was very comfortable with Mattie and invited her to stay at the beach house for a couple of days and this was the start of something that the viewers hadn't expected. Mattie's time at the beach house brought her closer to all the cast members and Jeremiah Buoni in particular.

The two shared chemistry that was hard to ignore and it was finally good to see Jeremiah happy with someone. Before we knew it, Mattie decided to stay the rest of the season in the house and the cast couldn't have been happier. While now the cast is busy welcoming a new member into the beach house, there is one person that they did not fail to acknowledge and it was Kortni Gilson.

Kortni left the season after a couple of episodes as she had to get surgery for her tonsils. While the surgery was a success, Kortni's recent return to the show was not. Kortni found it hard to get her groove back despite everything she was dealing with and unfortunately, she ended up having a panic attack and said some things that left many shocked.

Towards the end of the episode that aired last week, we see Kortni making the decision about leaving the show and seeking help. She later revealed that the panic attack made her recall her past which included the time when she was raped by the people she thought were her friends.

This made Kortni make the decision about staying away from the house and its madness for a while. With one less cast member in the house, Mattie seemed to fit right into the picture. With viewers getting more time to get to know Mattie more, it wouldn't be a surprise that Mattie returns for another season.

Besides, let's not forget that everyone is loving Jeremiah and Mattie's chemistry, so, it seems unlikely that the producers would want to put a dent on their viewership.

'Floribama Shore' airs on Thursdays at 8 pm ET on MTV.
