'Floribama Shore': Kortni decides to leave the house and seek help after suffering a panic attack
Kortni Gilson was back in the house after a long gap and was ready to have some fun. However, one of the main reasons for Kortni to come back to the house was the fear that her ex-boyfriend, Logan Fairbanks, would return to harm her. Logan and Kortni were involved in an abusive relationship that also led to some of the other cast members getting involved.
Unfortunately, Kortni's decision of heading to the house did not yield her the result that she had hoped for. The reality star tried to forget the night away as she partied with fellow cast members. While she had the best time of her life at the pub, things changed when she got into a taxi and found out that Nilsa Prowant was arrested.
Hearing this news, the rest of the cast members were also left shocked and the chaos in the taxi led Kortni to have a panic attack. Overwhelmed by emotions, Kortni broke down crying, leaving the other cast members surprised. Once she reached the house, she knew she had to be alone to process things.
Kortni confessed to the camera that she had been going through a lot, right from her boyfriend being oversees to her ex-boyfriend threatening to hunt her down. She added that she was not in a positive mindset.
Mattie Lynn Breaux tried to be by Kortni's side and expressed her support. Despite this, Kortni knew that she needed some time for herself. After waking up the next morning, Kortni decided that she had to leave the house and seek some help because there was a lot going on her mind.
The rest of the cast members understood what Kortni was going through and admitted that it takes a lot of courage to accept that one needs help. Even fans came out in support of Kortni and her decision to seek help.
"Kortni is so brave to know she needs help. That’s the first step," read one comment. Another added, "Feel so sad for Kortni for what she is feeling. Crying terribly like that I just want to give her a hug!"
'Floribama Shore' airs on Thursdays at 8 pm ET on MTV.
