However, Netflix's current tearjerker, 'Firefly Lane' Season 2 is the perfect series to watch with your ride or die as the series showcases the two best friends (and soulmates), who have been there for each other through thick and thin, the good and the bad. For nearly every single milestone, Kate Mularkey (Sarah Chalke) and Tully Hart (Katherine Heigl) have been by each other's side, supporting one another so it may resonate with you. The first part of 'Firefly Lane's last season was released on Netflix on December 2, 2022, and ended with a major cliffhanger that left audiences everywhere on the edge of their seats. The hit Netflix drama series chronicled the various ups and downs in Tully and Kate's friendship through the '70s, '80s and mid-2000s. 2) 'Blinded By the Light' by Manfred Mann’s Earth Band
'Blinded By the Light' is a song written and recorded by Bruce Springsteen, which first appeared on his 1973 debut album Greetings from Asbury Park, N.J. A cover by British rock band Manfred Mann's Earth Band reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1977. As the two young adults trying to grow up a little faster than most, this song was the perfect background music for the two best friends.
3) 'Landslide' by Fleetwood Mac
The Stevie Nicks and performed by British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac. The song was also first featured on the band's self-titled album Fleetwood Mac (1975). Apart from Netflix, another popular series revamped the song as per their liking. No guesses? The musical comedy drama series, ' Glee' performed the song in Season 2, Episode 15, "Sexy". Gwyneth Paltrow, Naya Rivera, and Heather Morris are featured on vocals for this version. In fact, Stevie Nicks attended the filming of the song and stated that it was a "beautiful mix" of the original and the new version.
4) 'Chapel of Love' by The Dixie Cups
It is no secret that Kate loves to go to church where as Tully is the polar opposite, However, they meet at a common point, 'Chapel of Love' by The Dixie Cups. The song tells of the happiness and excitement the narrator feels on her wedding day, for she and her love are going to the "chapel of love", and "we'll never be lonely anymore."

5) 'Push It' by Salt-N-Pepa
Let's be real, everyone has heard this song, at least once in their life. hip hop group Salt-N-Pepa, who originated in Queens. It was released as the B-side of the "Tramp" single in 1987. It peaked at number 19 on the US Billboard Hot 100 in early 1988. Something funnier which happened in recent times was when Pikotaro came out with a spoof song of 'Push it' and named it PPAP (Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen).
6) 'Harder Before It Gets Easier' by David Wax Museum
The David Wax Museum is an Indie folk song that went off the charts back in 2012. Although not much people know about the song, it hits home for any person who is going through a hard time. The song was released in Knock Knock Get Up album of David Wax Museum.
7) 'My Sunshine Girl' by Radiants
'My Sunshine Girl' is ideally a very happy song by the Radiants that dropped in 2002 under the 'Baby You Got It: The Ultimate Collection' album.
8) 'Chandelier' by Sia
Sia's 'Chandelier' is nothing but an absolute masterpiece that was released by the Aussie singer back in 2014. he song speaks to the fleeting feelings of release and abandon that come with intoxication, as well as the pain, guilt and emptiness that accompany addiction, alcoholism and hedonistic excess.
9) 'Dance Until Tomorrow' by Lavender Diamond
'Dance Until Tomorrow' is a 2007 song by Lavender Diamond which will make you sweep off your feet. It is a six minutes forty seconds song from the Imagine Our Love album.
10) 'Dancing Queen' by ABBA
There is no doubt that 'Dancing Queen' is a cult classic. It is a world wide hit. The song alternates between "languid yet seductive verses" and a "dramatic chorus that ascends to heart-tugging high notes". Lyrically, the song concerns a visit to the discothèque, but approaches the subject from the joy of dancing itself. Today, the song has become ABBA's most recognisable and popular song. In 2015, the song was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
