'Firefly Lane': Meet Katherine Heigl, Sarah Chalke, Ben Lawson and the rest of the cast of Netflix drama

Netflix’s ‘Firefly Lane’ is a story of two best friends. Based on the New York Times Bestselling book of the same name by Kristin Hannah, it is the sweeping story of two inseparable best friends and their enduring, complicated bond, spanning four tumultuous decades. As per the book’s synopsis, it is a coming of age novel about a generation of women who were both blessed and cursed by their choices.

The ten-part series, with Maggie Friedman as showrunner and executive producer, has a tender story and a fantastic cast to accompany it. Let’s take a look at who is part of the movie:

Katherine Heigl as Tully Hart

The 42-year-old American actor and former fashion model is best known for playing Izzie Stevens on the ABC television medical drama ‘Grey's Anatomy’. Her other notable roles include ‘Knocked Up’, ‘27 Dresses’, ‘The Ugly Truth’, ‘Killers’, ‘Life As We Know It’, ‘New Year's Eve’, ‘The Big Wedding’, and more.

The 44-year-old Canadian actor, model, and voice artist is best known for portraying Elliot Reid on the NBC/ABC comedy series ‘Scrubs’, Becky Conner on the ABC sitcom ‘Roseanne’, Stella Zinman on the CBS sitcom ‘How I Met Your Mother’, and Beth Smith on Adult Swim's adult animated science-fiction series ‘Rick and Morty’.

The 40-year-old Australian actor is best known for playing Frazer Yeats in the Australian soap opera ‘Neighbours’. On American television, he has appeared in ‘The Deep End’, ‘Covert Affairs’, and ‘Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23’. He also played baseball coach Rick Wlodimierzin in the second season of ‘13 Reasons Why’, Larry Hemsworth on ‘The Good Place’, and Lachlan Murdoch in ‘Bombshell’.

The 38-year-old American actor and model made her feature film debut in the horror film ‘Turistas’. She also portrayed Captain Raye in ‘Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer’, and Gem in ‘Tron: Legacy’. Garrett has appeared on television series like ‘Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior’, ‘Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce’, and ‘The Good Doctor’.

The 46-year-old Canadian actor, stunt performer, theatre actor, and drama teacher is best known for his role as David Singh in the CW series ‘The Flash’. He’s also appeared in TV shows like ‘Shooter’, ‘Shooter’, ‘Homeland’, ‘The Art of More’, and ‘True Justice’.

Chelah Horsdal as Margie Mularkey

The 47-year-old Canadian actor is known for her regular roles in the television series ‘Hell on Wheels’, ‘When Calls the Heart’, and ‘The Man in the High Castle’. She has also appeared on shows like ‘Stargate SG-1’, ‘Level Up’, and ‘Arrow’. Her film roles include ‘Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem’, and ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’. The film also stars Ali Skovbye as Young Tully, Roan Curtis as Young Kate, Yael Yurman as Marah, Brendan Taylor as Mutt, Jon Ecker as Max Brody, Brandon Jay McLaren as Travis, and Jenna Rosenow as Kimber Watts.

‘Firefly Lane’ is set to premiere on February 3, 2021, only on Netflix.
