'Filthy Rich' Episode 8 Preview: Is Rose pregnant with Mark's baby? His true identity might be revealed

The episodes of the southern Gothic dramedy are not only getting juicier but the plot is definitely thickening also! Episode 7 '2 Corinthians 3:17' definitely exposed a few things — Eugene Monreaux (Gerald McRaney) shows himself to Luke Taylor (Cranston Johnson), Becky Monreaux (Olivia Macklin) gets together with her sister-in-law Ginger Sweet (Melia Kreiling), Margaret Monreaux (Kim Cattrall) finds out that Veronica (Gia Carides) is her husband's illuminate son Jason Conley's mother, and Margaret and Franklin Lee (Steve Harris) get together. Episode 8 'James 4:1' promises more drama! The promo sees Margaret asking her daughter Rose if she's pregnant — just that alone would make for a great episode, and here's why.
Rose is the only one that knows Mark has been posing as Jason for a while now. The real Jason, Rose's actual brother, was in a coma, and now is dead. Rose and Mark (who everybody knows as Jason) have been in a relationship for quite a bit. Now, if Rose is pregnant, she can't have people thinking that she slept with her brother, so she might have to come out with the truth and tell her mother that the man she knows as Jason, is, in fact, Mark.
Fans want Rose and Mark to be together, but that could mean that Mark could go to jail for impersonating Jason. Not to mention, Mark also recently found out that Jason's real mother is Veronica, who was willing to give her 32% ownership of the Sunshine Network to Mark (who she thinks is her son Jason). It's all a huge mess, and we wonder how the writers are going to get Mark out of this — of course, Margaret could forgive Mark considering he only impersonated Jason because he needed the money to pay his bills. She could also have a soft spot for Rose who's so in love with Mark. There are so many ways this mess can unfold.
The synopsis of the promo also reveals that Rose runs into her ex-fiance. Considering that Mark broke up with Rose in Episode 7 (because he thought he was a loser with no money and is looking at possible jail time), we're wondering if she'll explore her options with her ex. But, we think that's highly unlikely because in Episode 4 'Romans 8:30' Rose told Mark that she was once engaged to a man that ended up cheating on her — so we don't see her going back to that drama. Only time can tell what will happen with Rose and Mark, and with only 3 episodes left of the series, we're really hoping they get their happy ending.
The official synopsis reads, "On the night of Antonio's big fight, tensions run high in the Monreaux family; when Rose runs into her ex-fiance, old wounds from the past are reopened; Becky contemplates her relationship with Eric."
