Spoilers for 'Filthy Rich' Episode 1

The pilot episode of 'Filthy Rich' introduced us to the Monreaux family where the death of Eugene Monreaux (Gerald McRaney) the patriarch of the family brings to light his many secrets. One of his secrets? His three bastard children outside of his marriage to his wife Margaret Monreaux (Kim Cattrall). It's safe to say that when you add controversy to a religious narrative, many tune in for the drama, but it seems like the pilot episode of FOX's Southern Gothic dramedy has already gained a fan base waiting on next week's episode.

"Oh my sweet baby Jesus they got a hit with #FilthyRichFOX I am #Hooked," tweeted one fan. Another tweeted, "#FilthyRichFOX is messy, soapy fun. The cast is great."

The premiere of the series was definitely a strong one, with enough spice to keep the audience asking questions and wanting more. It had all the makings of a dramedy from controversies of rich people and scrutiny of public opinion, to religious irony and unfaithfulness. The reputation of a well-nurtured Christian empire is at stake and with Margaret now at the helm, we can only hope for more fiesty family struggles. "Loved the pilot episode of #FilthyRichFOX! Great lines, great cast, and a major twist ending! Can’t wait for the rest of the season! If you didn’t see it, I highly recommend it!," tweeted one fan, with another adding, "I’m watching it again, after my mom gets home for work. However, I really can’t wait, for next Monday’s new episode!#FilthyRichFOX."

Fans were very happy to see the cast as well with one tweeting, "I really enjoyed the pilot for #FilthyRichFOX. Really excited to see where it goes and I’m so happy Aubrey Dollar is back on tv." Another fan added speaking of Kim Cattrall and Melia Kreiling, "I had a lot of thoughts about #FilthyRichFOX, and most of them have to do with these two queens. Try Jesus, not the Monreaux women, they don't play. #FilthyRich." It seems, just like us, many missed seeing queen Cattrall on TV with another fan adding, "Kim, you don’t know how amazing you were! I missed watching you on tv... I’m sooo happy with the comeback!  #FilthyRichFOX."
