Will 'Memory of a Killer' Episode 7 air tonight? Patrick Dempsey's crime thriller takes a brief break
Fans of the crime thriller series 'Memory of a Killer' will have to wait another week to see the contract killer Angelo Doyle discover the identity of the mysterious Ferryman. The show's last episode (#6), titled 'Uncle Jacob,' deepened the mystery when it aired on March 2. However, there will be no new episode this Monday, March 9. Fans will have to wait until next week, March 16, to enjoy Episode 7, titled 'Dr. Parks.' The reason for the weeklong break was shared by USA Today, which reported that Fox has filled the show's usual timeslot with Fox Sports programming, with the 'World Baseball Classic' airing at 8 p.m. ET on March 9.
In 'Memory of a Killer,' Patrick Dempsey stars as Angelo Doyle, a family man who leads a secret life as a hired-for-pay hitman. However, when his pregnant daughter, Maria, becomes the target of an assassination attempt, he sets out to find the shooter, known as 'The Ferryman.' In Episode 6, Angelo has his memory issues checked and gets a grim diagnosis: early-onset Alzheimer’s. The contract killer has to race against time to find the Ferryman before his memory fails him completely. He suspects his girlfriend, Nicky, of working for him and sets a trap to confirm her involvement, but she is proven innocent. However, the way Nicky threatens Angelo's psychiatrist to hand over his medical records proves that she may not be as innocent after all.
Moreover, Angelo's past crimes seem to catch up with him as FBI Agent Linda Grant suspects him of murdering the hitman, Henry Bloch. Additionally, Jeff's PI uncle finds a clue linking Angelo to Bloch's murder, proving that the truth can't stay hidden forever. As the walls begin to close in on him and blow up his life, will Angelo be able to pull off another miracle? In addition to Dempsey, the cast of 'Memory of a Killer' includes Richard Harmon as Angelo's right-hand man, Joe, and Gina Torres as the FBI agent Linda Grant. Odeya Rush plays Angelo's daughter Maria, while Daniel David Stewart plays his son-in-law Jeff. The title also stars Michael Imperioli as Dutch and Peter Gadiot as Detective Dave Woods. Inspired by the Belgian film 'De Zaak Alzheimer' (2003) and the 1985 novel of the same name, the show premiered on Fox on January 25 and is set to air its season finale on April 6. New episodes of 'Memory of a Killer' air on Mondays at 9 p.m. ET / 8 p.m. CT on Fox or stream the next day on Hulu.
