'FBI: International' release date, plot and all about CBS police procedural show
The TV networks in the US are filled with police procedural shows and they garner good ratings as well. Fans love the excitement of police providing justice by taking on difficult cases and solve them with utmost determination. When you mix these things with strong actors, good dialogues, and epic storylines, then you get a show like ‘FBI’.
‘FBI’ has been one of the most popular police procedural shows in recent times and sees a lot of viewers tuning in. The CBS show originally started in 2018 and introduced a new spin-off series, ‘FBI: Most Wanted’ in 2019. Taking the things a bit higher this time around, CBS is set to come out with a second spin-off series titled ‘FBI: International’.

Meanwhile, it will compete with the likes of ‘Chicago PD’, ‘Bosch’ and ‘True Detective’ to garner praise globally. ‘FBI: International’ revolves around a team of elite officers from the FBI International Fly Team which is headquartered in Budapest. The officers are responsible for neutralizing all the threats against the USA wherever they may be.

Release date and how to watch
The second spin-off series in the ‘FBI’ franchise will be premiering exclusively on CBS on Tuesday, September 21. The pilot episode of the series will be a three-hour crossover premiere event with ‘FBI’ and ‘FBI: Most Wanted’. The episode will be airing at 10 pm EST. However, it will take the 9 pm EST slot from the second week.
Viewers can watch CBS on various streaming devices such as FuboTV, Hulu with Live TV, Paramount Plus, YouTube TV, and AT&T TV.
Plot
"Headquartered (and filmed) in Budapest, elite operatives of the Federal Bureau of Investigation's International Fly Team travel the world with the mission of tracking and neutralizing threats against American citizens wherever they may be. The Fly Team's Special Agent Scott Forrester (Luke Kleintank), their accomplished and dedicated leader, puts his missions ahead of his personal life and is rarely seen without the team's "secret weapon" - their trusty Schutzhund dog, Tank. Second in command is Special Agent Jamie Kellett (Heida Reed), who's not afraid to tussle - in an alley or courtroom - and whose extensive network of informants is a powerful resource. Special Agent Andre Raines (Carter Redwood) shines in the field and makes good use of his accounting background in tracking criminal enterprises moving money; and the group's newest member, Special Agent Cameron Vo (Vinessa Vidotto), is a competitive West Point grad who excels at interrogation and strategy. A key part of the mix is the unflappable Europol Agent Katrin Jaeger (Christiane Paul), the multilingual liaison between the Fly Team and each host country they inhabit.”
Cast
Luke Kleintank will be playing the role of Scott Forrester, head of the International Fly Team. Meanwhile, Heida Reed will be portraying the character of Jamie Kellett, who is the team’s second-in-command. German actress Christiane Paul will portray Katrin Jaeger, who is a multilingual Europol agent and acts as a liaison for the team. Vinessa Vidotto and Carter Redwood will play Cameron Vo and Andre Raines, respectively.

Based on the original series ‘FBI’ by Dick Wolf and Craig Turk, the series is created by Derek Haas. The writer-turned-producer is known for projects such as ‘Chicago PD’, ‘Chicago Med’, ‘Chicago Fire’, ‘2 Fast 2 Furious’, and ‘Wanted’.
