His family owns around 1000 acres of land in Centre, Colorado, about 25 miles west of Great Sand Dunes National Park. Brandon is the most remote farmer, living in a small one-stoplight town surrounded by farmland.
He grew up on the farm working with his father. In his 20s he returned to work on the farm full time to continue with his family's legacy. He has a well-settled business and is doing quite well for himself.
