'Pokémon Concierge' set against the background of a tropical island Pokémon Resort, is poised to return for a second season

LOS ANGELS, CALIFORNIA: Netflix has sent Pokémon fans into a frenzy with the exciting announcement of the second season of 'Pokémon Concierge' on Tuesday, February 20. 

The series, which made its Netflix debut on December 28, 2023, was well-received by fans for its heartwarming narrative. The show introduced fans to a Pokémon Resort, a tropical island dedicated to leisure and pleasure. 

Fans are elated about 'Pokémon Concierge' season 2

The stop-motion anime, a departure from previous series in the franchise, has captivated the hearts of Pokémon enthusiasts.

As soon as the news about new episodes surfaced, fans erupted in celebration, expressing their thoughts about the treasured series on X.

Expressing their joy on the second season, a fan wrote, "YEAHHHHHHHHH ILOVED POKÉMON CONCIERGE"

A viewer raved about the series' claymation art style and said, "I'm so glad we're getting more Pokemon Concierge. This is such a fun little series. Solid premise, solid characters, and I can't stress how solid the claymation art style is. I couldn't recommend it enough for anyone who hasn't seen it yet."

While another commented, "More episodes of Pokémon Concierge? Maybe there's still some good left."

Who will direct 'Pokémon Concierge' season 2? 

The director of the first season, Iku Ogawa, is set to return as the director for the second season of the anime. 

Ogawa expressed his joy at the series' renewal and hinted at potential new recruits for the Pokémon in the second season. 

The plot of the second season of the anime series is still under wraps, but fans are optimistic that it will live up to the previous season's appeal thanks to Haru's (Karen Fukuhara) charming shenanigans.
