Spoiler warning: The following article contains spoilers for Season 1, Episode 3 of 'Watchmen'

There’s a lot to unpack on ‘She Was Killed by Space Junk’, the third episode of the first season of ‘Watchmen’, and fans seem to be enjoying all of it. Most notable is this episode's introduction of a classic ‘Watchmen’ comics character  Laurie Blake aka Silk Specter. Many continue to be highly entertained by Jeremy Irons’ performance as the man who has just been revealed to be Adrian Veidt, another character from the ‘Watchmen’ comics better known as Ozymandias.

“Just finished #Watchmen episode 3.... this show is so damn good and it gets better each episode. Jean Smart as Laurie Blake is perfection,” says one Twitter user. The not-so-subtle dig at Batman that the show opened with did not pass the fans’ notice. With Laurie Blake on the Anti-Vigilante Task Force, Bat-knockoff ‘Mr. Shadow’ doesn’t get very far. “Holy shit, Jean Smart just shot Batman!” a fan exulted. Another fan of the show praised the on-screen chemistry between Jean Smart and Regina King: “Watchmen went from great to incredible this week.  Jean Smart and Regina King should win all the everything awards.”

Jeremy Irons got much love from the internet as well, as the episode gives us more scenes where his character was revealed to be Adrian Veidt. Just so there is no doubt left in anyone’s mind as to his identity, Veidt dresses up in his classic Ozymandias costume, as well. “Has there ever been an actor who is more visibly having a blast playing a role than Jeremy Irons is playing Adrian Veidt on @watchmen?” asked one Twitter user

There’s a certain amount of amusement in the Watchmen social media buzz, as this is the second episode in a row that features a large blue penis - this time in the form of a large vibrator owned by Laurie Blake.“So I guess hearing about a giant blue dildo is how I get reminded there's a new episode of Watchmen out. This is where we are at. This is how we live now,” said one user
