'Family Game Fight!' premieres on Sunday, August 8, 2021, at 10:30 pm ET/PT. You can then catch the time-period premiere on Wednesday, August 11 at 9 pm ET/PT.

Plot

As per the synopsis, "NBC's highly anticipated new competition series 'Family Game Fight!', hosted by Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard, is set to debut with a special series premiere on Sunday, August 8 at 10:30 pm ET/PT, immediately following the Closing Ceremony of the Summer Olympics. The series makes its time-period premiere with an all-new episode on Wednesday, August 11 at 9 pm ET/PT.

Hosted by Bell and Shepard, 'Family Game Fight!' pits America's funniest husband and wife against one another as they are "adopted" into a family of four competing for $100,000 in a series of fun-filled and larger-than-life games. Marking the first time Bell and Shepard have paired up for a television project, 'Family Game Fight!' is inspired by the couple's competitive antics on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show.'"

Kristen Bell

Kristen Anne Bell is an actress. On July 18, 1980, she was born in Huntington Woods, Michigan, Detroit, where she was raised. Her mother, Lorelei is a registered nurse, and her father, Tom Bell, works as a television news director.

However, the couple split when Bell was 2 years old. She attended the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and made her Broadway stage debut in 'The Adventures of Tom Sawyer'. Her first major role was that of the title character in 'Veronica Mars', for which she won a Saturn Award for Best Actress on Television.

Her other works include 'When in Rome', 'Burlesque', 'You Again', 'Hit and Run', 'Frozen', 'The Boss', 'Bad Moms' and 'Ralph Breaks the Internet'. She is married to Dax Shepherd and the couple have two daughters together, Lincoln and Delta.

Dax Shepard

Dax Randall Shepard is an actor, comedian, writer, director and podcast host. He was born in Highland Township, Michigan, Detroit and is the son of Laura LaBo and David Robert "Dave" Shepard, Sr. His parents divorced when he was 3 years old. He graduated from Walled Lake Central High School and later enrolled in The Groundlings school. He attended Santa Monica College and West Los Angeles College and later transferred to UCLA, where he did his BA in Anthropology.
