LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Host Steve Harvey is one of the main reasons why ‘Family Feud’ continues to be a popular game show on television. He is witty, and viewers completely adore how he makes all the contestants feel so comfortable. However, fans didn’t look too happy with a clip that was recently shared on the show’s Instagram page and slammed the host for how he reacted to the player’s shocking answer on the show. Viewers believed that the suggestive response was the host’s fault, not the contestant’s.

In the video, Harvey feels astonished after a contestant named Tracy gave a provocative answer to one of the questions. The host asked, “When people fall asleep at night, tell me something that they’re still clutching in their hands.” Tracy took a few seconds and nervously replied, “I really don’t want to say it…but, ‘themselves.’”

Harvey baffled by the word 'appendage'

Steve couldn’t believe what he just heard and pointed to the first word on his Family Feud-labeled note card. He said, “People watch this in the daytime.”

As soon as the camera panned to the game board, it was revealed that Tracy was correct and the word “appendage” appeared on the board as the bottom answer. The clip ended with Harvey turning to Tracy and innocently asking, “What is appendage?”

Fans didn’t like the way Harvey mocked the contestant’s answer and told her that her answer was not suitable for “family TV”. Many said that Tracy’s questionable answer was in response to the inappropriate question asked by the host.

'When did this become a family show?'

Slamming Harvey, one of the fans wrote, “U ask this type of question n still say it's FAMILY feud.” Another social media user wrote, “Then why do you form the questions like that!?” Another social media user noted, “Wait when did it become a family show?"

One user wrote, "A few days ago, the ‘Family Feud’ Instagram posted a clip of Steve asking “Something that starts with ‘P’ that somebody might do to your bottom?”

This is not the first time Harvey has been criticized for his actions on the game show. In another clip that was recently shared on the show’s Instagram page, the host roasted a father who gave a shoutout to his children while playing the game. As always, Harvey wanted to know more about the contestant before starting the round. The contestant revealed that he has two children and he loves them very much. Harvey asked for their names and told the contestant to say “hello” to them.

The contestant got really nervous and said hello to his children with a hilarious look on his face. The shoutout made Harvey laugh and the host went on to do an impression of the nervous contestant. As soon as people watched the clip, they begged the host not to mock the contestant for making his first-ever TV appearance.
