'Celebrity Family Feud' Season 8 on ABC: Release date, cast, plot and all the latest buzz about game show
Fans of the long-running quiz show 'Family Feud' can rejoice as a new season of its spin-off 'Celebrity Family Feud' is finally here. The show started airing in 2015 and is returning for its eighth season. It will run like normal 'Family Feud,' except the competitors will be A-list celebrities and their families competing on behalf of a charity of their choice.
Celebrities and their family and friends try to guess the most popular answers to surveys of 100 members of a past studio audience. 'Celebrity Family Feud' Season 8 is premiering on Sunday, July 10 at 8 PM on ABC. Fans of the show will also be able to stream the premiere and the following episodes on Hulu a day after telecast.
What is 'Celebrity Family Feud' all about?
Most episodes feature two self-contained games, each concluding with Fast Money. Some episodes in later seasons consist of a single hour-long game. Winning teams earn $25,000 for their chosen charity by scoring 200 points in Fast Money, or $10,000 if they do not. Teams that lose the main game earn $5,000 for their charity.
Who stars in 'Celebrity Family Feud'?
Steve Harvey
Steve Harvey is the host of both 'Family Feud' and 'Celebrity Family Feud', holding this role since 2010. He also hosted 'Little Big Shots', 'Little Big Shots Forever Young', and 'Steve Harvey’s Funderdome.' Born in Welch, West Virginia, Harvey began his career as a comedian. He performed stand-up comedy in the early 1980s and hosted 'Showtime' at the Apollo and 'The Steve Harvey Show' on The WB. He launched an African version of 'Family Feud' and also invested in the HDNet takeover along with Anthem Sports and Entertainment. He and his wife Marjorie are the founders of The Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation, a nonprofit organization focused on youth education. He is a seven-time Daytime Emmy Award winner, two-time Marconi Award winner, and a 14-time NAACP Image Award winner in various categories.

Team 'Good Vibes Tribe' led by actress Meagan Good will take on the cast of Team 'Funches' led by actor Ron Funches.
