'Ex on the Beach' Season 3 Episode 12 preview: Ariana and Coffey insist on no more love triangles in their relationship

The thruple situation is exhausting for Ariana and Coffey and they want their partners to end the three-cornered affairs.

This season of ‘Ex on the Beach’ saw multiple “thruples” on the show. In case you’re wondering what a thruple is, it is when three people are in a relationship. Aubrey O’Day began the trend on the show when she couldn’t choose between her next - Mark Jansen and her ex-Lisa Coffey. Aubrey felt that she loved both and wanted to be in an open relationship and see how things work out between them. Coffey was initially very confident that Mark had nothing on her, but, of late, she started feeling a bit insecure. In the preview clip released by the show of the next episode, we see Coffey telling Mark that she was done with the thruple and Aubrey is all hers.

It’s not just Aubrey’s thruple situation which is falling apart. Mechie too found himself in a similar situation after his ex, Kellie Sweet washed up on the beach just as he began exploring his interest in fellow cast member Ariana. Mechie clearly explains to both the ladies that he likes both and can’t decide to pick one of them at this point in time and needs some more time. While Ariana seemed cool about it in the previous episode, in the preview clip we see her telling Mechie that he can’t string both the girls, and he needs to pick one of them. While our heart sincerely goes out to Ariana, who has been through hell with her ex Cameron, we feel that she could find a better partner than Mechie.

The Marie-Devin-Shannon situation too surfaces on the clip. Although the three of them are not thruples, the situation between them is messy. Marie still has very strong feelings for her ex Devin, while Devin makes it very clear to her that he wants to move on and only sees her as a friend. Meanwhile, Devin and Shannon are getting very close much to Marie’s dismay. It is also the final cut week, so we can’t wait to see who will be booted off the show.
