'Ex on the Beach' fans think Alexis deserves far better after she handled Cameron's tryst with Geles 'like a Queen'
'Boy Band' member Cameron was in the midst of all the drama on this week's episode of 'Ex on the Beach' that aired on August 6. To give you a brief recap of what's gone down on the show with him so far, Cameron is one of the singles that came to the reality show looking for new connections.
Cameron has a problem with decision-making in general. We say this because the 26-year-old man-child still lives with his ex to save on rent, which eventually led to his breakup with his most recent ex Alexis. In his introduction, Cameron explicitly stated that he wants a trophy girlfriend. As soon as he stepped on the beach he set his eyes on fellow single Geles. Things between them moved at lightning speed. Before we were done blinking, the two were in bed saying "I Love You" to each other.
Cameron gives Geles false assurance that he doesn't care which of his exes surface on the show. He assured her that he would still be giving his attention to Geles. Geles happily laps up all his false promises, while Cameron complained about how he's being pressurized by Geles to move things along to the other boys in the villa.
All was well in their relationship until one of Cameron’s exes Alexis washed up on the beach trying to figure out if there was still any spark left between Cameron and her.
As soon as she steps into the villa, she's whisked off to a room with Cameron where she sees footage of him and Geles in bed and on their dates. She catches up on everything that happened between Geles and him before her arrival. Alexis was obviously taken aback with Cameron's behavior but handles the situation in a very calm and composed manner. When she comes face-to-face with Geles, everybody was expecting a catfight, but instead, she reaches out to hug Geles and says that she holds nothing against her. This classy move of her bowled everyone over in the villa.
Fans couldn't stop praising Alexis for how well she handled the situation. A fan wrote, "Alexis is a beautiful human wooow. Like all the way to her core #ExOnTheBeach". Another fan commented, "OK but can we talk about how Alexis was dealt the worst hand as soon as she walked into the house but she STILL went around and hugged everyone, what a QUEEN! #ExOnTheBeach @AlexisHanaMusic".
We can’t help but feel that someone as kind and smart as Alexis deserves a lot better than Cameron, who can't even be honest or decide what he wants. A fan tweeted, "Cameron had a love triangle with Alexis before and another one brewing again. Alexis is nice. Whose fault is it? Cameron. #ExOnTheBeach".
