Zendaya's Rue in 'Euphoria' Season 2 continues down the dark path. It's not an exaggeration, but it was indeed one of those performances that left the audience spellbound. Rue's addiction and her drug-peddling for Laurie are further explored. Following an explosive confrontation with her mother after Jules rats out her relapses it is clear that Rue and her already cracked relationship with her BFF just went from bad to worse. While parts of the episode shed light on Cassie and Maddy as well, it was all Zendaya who stole the show yet again.

Twitter, while sharing their two cents on the episode, also lauded Zendaya for her stellar acting performance. "Zendaya!! You deserve an Emmy for that performance. Incredible actress #Euphoria," one of the tweets read. This was seconded by another who said "No but in all honesty, give Zendaya, Storm Reid, and Nika King all Emmy’s. To be honest, fucking excellent all around. #Euphoria." Another added: "Zendaya acted her ass off in this new episode #Euphoria."
